New Delhi, June 3, 2025 – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key, scanned images of OMR answer sheets, and recorded responses for NEET UG 2025. Candidates who appeared in the exam can now view and challenge both the answer key and their individual responses through the official NEET website (neet.nta.nic.in).
What’s Available Now
- Provisional Answer Key: A tentative set of correct answers for all questions.
- Scanned OMR Sheets: Digital copies of each candidate’s answer sheet sent to their registered email.
- Recorded Responses: A record showing how each candidate attempted every question.
Key Dates and Fees
- Challenge Window: June 3 to June 5, 2025
- Fee per Challenge: ₹200 (non-refundable), payable for each question challenged
- Last Date to Pay Fee: June 5, 2025, until 11:50 PM
- Mode of Payment: Debit card, credit card, or net banking
Candidates must pay the processing fee for each question they wish to challenge. Any challenge submitted without the fee or through alternate channels will be rejected.
Important Notes
- All challenge requests will be evaluated by a panel of subject experts.
- If any challenge is deemed valid, the answer key will be updated accordingly.
- Final results will be based on the revised answer key.
- NTA will not send individual updates about whether a challenge was accepted or rejected.
- The NTA’s decision at the end of this process is final.

How to Challenge the Provisional Answer Key
- Visit the NEET Website
Go to neet.nta.nic.in and click on “Display OMR Answer Sheet / Challenge Recorded Response and Answer Key.” - Log In
Enter your application number and password, then enter the captcha code and submit. - View Correct Options
Under the “Correct Option” column, you will see the answer NTA currently considers correct. - Select Questions to Challenge
For any question you believe has a wrong answer, click and select the option you believe is correct from the four available choices. - Upload Supporting Documents
Prepare any relevant proof or reference (textbooks, official publications, etc.) as a single PDF file. Click on “Choose File” to upload. - Save Your Claim
Once you’ve selected all questions you want to challenge, click “Save your Claim.” - Review and Pay
Scroll down, review your list of challenged questions, and click “Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally.” Choose your payment method, pay ₹200 per question, and download or print the payment receipt for your records.
How to Challenge the OMR Answer Sheet / Recorded Response
- Visit the NEET Website
Again, go to neet.nta.nic.in and click “Display OMR Answer Sheet / Challenge Recorded Response and Answer Key.” - Log In
Use your application number and password, enter the captcha, and submit. - Select “OMR Challenge”
In the left panel, click on “OMR Challenge.” - View Your OMR Sheet
Click on the “OMR Challenge Link” to see your scanned answer sheet. - Challenge Recorded Responses
Scroll to the “Challenge Recorded Response” section. You’ll see your marked responses under “Captured Response as per OMR Sheet.” In the “Candidate’s Claim” column, select the option you believe you actually marked on the OMR. - Submit Your Claim
After choosing all questions you wish to challenge, click “Submit,” then review your selections. - Pay the Fee
Click “Submit and Pay Fee Finally,” choose your payment mode, and pay ₹200 per question. Download or print the payment receipt afterward.
