Honda Launches New CB750 Hornet And CB1000 Hornet SP

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today expanded its premium “Hornet” lineup with two striking new streetfighters: the mid-capacity CB750 Hornet and the flagship CB1000 Hornet SP. Bookings have just opened nationwide, and deliveries will commence in June 2025, Honda confirmed in its latest press release.

Pricing & Availability

  • CB750 Hornet: Launching at ₹ 8,59,500 (ex-showroom, Gurugram), this model will be retailed through all Honda BigWing and BigWing Topline dealerships across India.
  • CB1000 Hornet SP: Priced at ₹ 12,35,900 (ex-showroom, Gurugram), the SP variant will be exclusive to BigWing Topline outlets.

Aggressive “X Pure” Styling
Both models showcase Honda’s new “Aggressive X Pure” design ethos, featuring sharply chiseled tank shrouds, sculpted side panels and signature full-LED lighting. The CB750 is offered in Matte Pearl Glare White or Matte Ballistic Black Metallic, while the CB1000 SP arrives in a single-tone Matte Ballistic Black Metallic finish accented with subtle gold highlights.

Chassis, Suspension & Braking

  • CB750 Hornet: Mounted on a 41 mm Showa SFF-BP™ inverted fork up front and a Pro-Link mono-shock at the rear, it stops with twin 296 mm discs up front and a 240 mm rotor at the rear, backed by dual-channel ABS.
  • CB1000 Hornet SP: Shares the Showa SFF-BP™ front fork but upgrades the rear to an Öhlins TTX36 shock. Braking duties are handled by twin 310 mm Brembo-caliper discs up front plus a 240 mm rear disc, with ABS standard.

Powertrain & Rider Tech
Under its sculpted bodywork, the CB750 packs a 755 cc parallel-twin that produces 90 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 75 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm, mated to a six-speed gearbox with an assist/slipper clutch. The CB1000 SP steps up to a 999 cc inline-four, outputting 155 bhp at 12,000 rpm and 107 Nm at 9,000 rpm, and comes standard with a bi-directional quickshifter.

Both Hornets feature a 5-inch full-colour TFT display integrated with Honda’s RoadSync smartphone app for turn-by-turn navigation, call and music alerts. The CB750 offers four ride modes (Sport, Standard, Rain, User), while the CB1000 SP adds two customizable User settings. Honda Selectable Torque Control with three intervention levels further enhances rider confidence.

With their blend of bold styling, robust hardware and cutting-edge electronics, the CB750 Hornet and CB1000 Hornet SP are poised to strengthen Honda’s foothold in India’s rapidly growing premium-bike market.
